Hi everyone, I’m David!

 

I’ve been drumming since 2007, having formally studied various genres of music and playing styles throughout the years.

 

Since 2013 I’ve been working in the Scottish music industry as a session drummer, performing and recording for several independent artists as well as some of my own creative projects. In that time, I’ve worked alongside many incredibly talented people and have been lucky enough to perform at countless live events across Scotland and beyond.

 

I graduated from HND music at Ayrshire College in 2018. Having primarily focused on studio production, recording, and composition. I also have a proficient understanding of traditional music theory and am self-taught on the guitar. I love music from many different genres and enjoy attending live gigs to support local artists.

 

Through teaching I hope to share with students all of the benefits that learning and playing a musical instrument can bring them:
